In a World of Entropy

I am borrowing these words until I can find some of my own.

Summer

My goals for the summer:

  1. Go through (my own made-up) Athletic Training Program with Nikki
  2. Finish (at least) 3 Issues of… Oh God we haven’t even named it yet…
  3. Learn Japanese (at least a little bit)
  4. …Don’t die…

I’m not doing anything else over the summer so I should have time to finish these.

Someone! Hold me to these. Especially the last one. It may be a little bit important. Just a tad though…

Interviewer: Black history month you find…
Morgan Freeman: Ridiculous.
Interviewer: Why?
Morgan Freeman: You’re going to relegate my history to a month?
Interviewer: Oh, come on.
Morgan Freeman: What do you do with yours? Which month is white history month?
Interviewer: (pause) Well, I’m Jewish.
Morgan Freeman: Okay. Which month is jewish history month?
Interviewer: There isn’t one.
Morgan Freeman: Oh, oh. Why not? Do you want one?
Interviewer: No.
Morgan Freeman: Right. I don’t either. I don’t want a black history month. Black history is American history.
Interviewer: How are we going to get rid of racism?
Morgan Freeman: Stop talking about it.

“Llullaillaco Maiden”:
A 15 year old girl sacrificed during the Inca Empire for both purposes of religious rite and social control. She was chosen a year prior to her death, fed a ritualistic diet for an approximate twelve months to make her gain weight, then was drugged and left on the shrine at Volcano Llullaillaco, where she was left to die of exposure. For five hundred years, her body had been preserved at 82 ft. She is considered to be the best preserved Andean mummy ever uncovered.

crazy.

Wow.
